Welcome to Etching Hill Women's Institute INSPIRING WOMEN SINCE 1946



We meet on the 2nd Wednesday each month at 7.45 pm in Etching Hill Village Hall, East Butts Rd, Rugeley.

Our members are a friendly group of women, with a variety of interests who enjoy the benefits that the W.I. can offer. New faces are always welcome. If you are a women and are 18 or over, why not come along as a visitor and give us a try. We are always open to new ideas, and it's free for the first three months.

As well as our monthly meetings, members regularly take part in a number of activities including

  Visits to local Theatres A Bi-monthly Lunch Club
  Scrabble Rummikub Majhong

We are part of the Rose & Shamrock Group of WIs and attend the Group Meetings in March and October each year.

As part of The Staffordshire Federation of W.Is, who hold a number of events during the year, we enjoy speakers who have included famous people such as the author of Inspector Morse - Colin Dexter, Ann Widdicombe - MP, Jenni Bond - former Royal Correspondent for the BBC, and Simon Weston the Falklands veteran.
